We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
Responsibilities:
- Perform intraoperative and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and exposure monitoring.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies.
- Assist in quality control and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
- AART Registered and CPR Current.
- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
- Must possess independent decision making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
