Receptionist at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Rockwall:

• The Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff;
• Admits patients and processes their paperwork;
• Updates patient demographics/information in system;
• Collects monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
  
  

Qualifications:

Education

• High school diploma or GED
  
  

Required Experience

• One-year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Good communication skills.
