Job Summary:
The Insurance Verifier/Scheduler Font Desk interfaces with patients and families, physicians, offices and staff. Insurance verification and authorization is the top priority of this position. Applicant needs to possess personal and language skills in communication with patients and other professionals regarding current day Health Insurance plans. Applicant also must possess a strong understanding of Insurance verification and authorization. Other duties include answering phone calls, admitting and processing patients and paperwork, documenting in the billing system, collecting payments.
The Insurance Verifier/Scheduler Font Desk interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls. Verify insurance.
