What You Will Do (Job Summary):
Performs routine duties for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe and pristine environment in all areas of the facility in accordance with UPSI quality standards. This position assumes other responsibilities to facilitate a safe and effective operation of the facility and patient services.
Key Duties Include:
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
Starting Pay Range is $19 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

Key Duties Include:
- Monitor the facility for cleanliness before and during business hours.
- Damp dusts all horizontal surfaces including furniture, lights, booms, and equipment using a clean, lint-free cloth moistened with a facility-approved detergent/disinfectant.
- Cleans necessary items brought from areas outside the restricted area.
- Assesses the perioperative environment frequently for cleanliness.
- Ensures that contaminated laundry is disposed of appropriately.
- Handles contaminated disposable and reusable items safely and according to facility policies and state and federal regulations.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Housekeeping/Environment Services experience in hospital or medical center setting
