What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT/X-Ray Technologist position at United Surgical Partners International, Inc?
Performing quality diagnostic exams, performs OR procedures including portables and C-arms, assists with Fluoro-guided procedures as needed in the department, and covers CT exams later in the evening. Performs patient exams on time. Safely operates ALL X-ray equipment following manufacturer’s guidelines and ALARA. Prepares the patient’s room with needed supplies and medications/contrast. Provides history and communicates with the Radiologist regarding protocol changes. Provides essential Imaging services for the department. Practices Image Gently and Image Wisely on ALL exams.

- ARRT Registered in X-ray
- Preferred (5) years in OR/diagnostic and (1) year of experience in CT
- Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
- Current BLS Certification
- Willing to participate in the Departmental Call Rotation
- Must be available to work holidays and other shifts as needed
