Local Truck Driver (No CDL Required)

Job is for a Day Shift Part-time Employee 30-35 hours per week, or a Full-time Employee 40 hours a week with Benefits

Job Summary

United Surface Finishing is seeking a reliable, experienced local truck driver to safely transport goods to and from our customers within a local 30-mile daily routine with designated destinations. Must be able to drive a medium-duty 16’ flatbed straight truck.

· Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

· Safely transport goods to clients within a local region

· Follow all traffic laws and regulations

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups

· Plan route based on delivery and pick-up schedule.

· Loading and unloading parts safely onto the truck in an organized and efficient manner.

· Operates forklift and overhead crane safely.

· Inspecting shipping orders and paperwork to ensure the load matches the scheduled route.

· Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional attitude, and appropriately representing United Surface Finishing.

· Help with product packaging and palletizing as needed for shipment.

Required Education and Experience

· A valid driver's license (No CDL required)

· Ability to pass a DOT Medical Physical (Scheduled & Paid for by USF)

· Clean Driving record.

· Minimum of a High School education

· Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math to accurately count and measure.

· The ability to use a forklift to load, unload, and move parts. ( USF will certify)

· No serious accidents or violations in the past 5 years.

· 2 or more years of experience driving commercially.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
