United Success Wealth Management ("USWM") is an independent Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) located in Chatham, New Jersey. We provide investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, insurance planning, and wealth management solutions to individuals, families, professionals, retirees, and business owners.
We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Associate Wealth Advisor & Investment Analyst who wants to develop into a well-rounded wealth management professional.
This is not a sales-only position.

This is an opportunity to work directly with the firm's Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer while gaining hands-on experience across every aspect of a growing independent wealth management firm.

About the Role
Initially, this position will focus on supporting the Managing Partner by learning and ultimately taking ownership of many recurring operational, client service, investment, and administrative responsibilities.
You will shadow senior leadership, learn the firm's systems and processes, and gradually assume increasing responsibility based on performance and demonstrated capability.

Primary ResponsibilitiesInvestment Management & Trading
- Monitor investment portfolios and client holdings
- Assist with trade preparation, implementation, and reconciliation
- Conduct investment and market research
- Maintain investment watchlists and research databases
- Prepare portfolio review materials and performance reports
- Support portfolio rebalancing activities
- Assist with options-overlay implementation and monitoring
- Track market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities
Financial Planning
- Assist in preparing comprehensive financial plans
- Gather and organize client financial information
- Support retirement, tax, insurance, education, and estate planning analyses
- Prepare planning recommendations and client deliverables
- Assist with planning software and financial modeling tools
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Participate in client meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and follow-up notes
- Coordinate account paperwork and client requests
- Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation
- Assist with client onboarding and account servicing
- Deliver a high level of responsiveness and professionalism
Operations & Administration
- Learn and execute firm operating procedures
- Maintain internal workflows and task management systems
- Support technology platforms and advisor systems
- Assist with document management and reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Assist with compliance-related workflows and documentation
- Maintain records and support regulatory requirements
- Participate in annual reviews and compliance monitoring activities
- Learn the operational and regulatory requirements of an independent RIA
Insurance Planning Support
- Learn insurance planning concepts and product solutions
- Assist with policy reviews and case preparation
- Learn insurance carrier and planning software platforms
- Support insurance implementation and servicing processes
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Wealth Management
- Financial Planning
- Financial Advisory Services
- Investment Management
- Insurance Planning
- Banking
- Financial Services
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Preferred
- Experience within an RIA, broker-dealer, family office, insurance agency, or wealth management firm
- Trading, investment research, or portfolio management experience
- Familiarity with financial planning concepts and software
- Experience using CRM and reporting systems
- Life & Health Insurance License
- Series 65, Series 7, or equivalent securities licensing
- CFP® certification or CFP® candidate
- CFA® charterholder or CFA® candidate
- Master's degree in Finance or a related field
