Responsibilities

• Perform surface mount technology inspections and ensure adherence to quality control protocols for electronic components.
• Conduct non-destructive testing methods including ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, and X-ray inspection techniques to identify defects or inconsistencies in materials.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide inspection processes and assembly verification.
• Collect and analyze data during equipment testing, ultrasonic inspections, and radiographic evaluations to assess material integrity.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, test reports, and quality assurance records following ASME codes & standards.
• Use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other precision instruments for measurements and assembly verification.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all inspection activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with non-destructive testing techniques including ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and X-ray inspection.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) components and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and quality inspection procedures within an industrial or aerospace setting.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to equipment testing and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently.
• Excellent safety protocol adherence with a focus on non-destructive testing environments.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail for interpreting complex technical schematics and ensuring precise assembly.
