We are looking for candidates that would be able to start in Spring (April/May) 2026. This assignment is a paid internship that offers personal and professional development in our IT Infrastructure team. The positions are on-site based at our Gary Works facility in Gary, IN.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the governance of service management processes and application by performing data analysis and validation for various metrics.
- Participate in application development training as needed, dependent upon the application area assigned, and apply training to work assignments.
- Once trained, work independently with minimal direction in the areas of application software maintenance and development, analysis, and troubleshooting per customer requests.
- Support the cybersecurity program by assisting with access management, compliance cyber controls, security education, incident identification/investigation and cyber-related projects.
- Daily interaction with team members, internal business units, and external customers.
- Configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of desktop and server hardware and software.
- Participates with the Data Networking team supporting the plant environment.
- Configure and deploy physical and virtual servers.
- Resolution of customer requests and problems.
- Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any IT related field.
- Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
- Must not complete full-time course work prior to December 2026 and be in good academic standing. Sophomores and Juniors are preferred.
- Have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
