Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a U.S. Marine Corps Attorney located in Oceanside, CA. The Attorney will provide legal advice and representation to the Marine Corps and its service members. Day-to-day tasks include preparing legal documents, advising on military law, conducting legal research, representing clients in court and administrative hearings, and providing counsel on operational law and rules of the UCMJ.
- Ability to provide effective Training and development in legal contexts
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or currently enrolled in an ABA accredited Law School
- Membership in good standing with a state bar
- Active duty or prior military service is a plus
- US citizenship is required
