Role Description
The United States Marine Corps is seeking a highly qualified Lawyer for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) role. As a Judge Advocate, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation in a variety of military and civilian legal matters. Responsibilities include advising commanders on legal issues, representing clients in courtroom or administrative proceedings drafting, and reviewing military and administrative documents. This is a full time, on site role with initial training in Quantico, VA.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, research, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high pressure team environments
- Hold a law degree (J.D.) from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice law, or be actively enrolled in a J.D. program
