Job Description:
Are you ready to protect and serve on a global scale? The U.S. Navy is actively recruiting Master-at-Arms (MA) – our military police and force protection specialists. As an MA, you will enforce laws, maintain security, and respond to emergencies on U.S. Navy installations and onboard ships around the world.

Whether on land or at sea, you'll be the first line of defense in keeping your shipmates, equipment, and missions safe.

No law enforcement experience required – full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide law enforcement, force protection, and security operations
• Conduct base and shipboard patrols
• Control access to sensitive areas
• Respond to and investigate incidents and emergencies
• Handle and train military working dogs (K-9 units, with qualification)
• Operate detection equipment and non-lethal weapons
• Support anti-terrorism/force protection efforts worldwide

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ages 17–41
• Must meet physical and background screening requirements
• Willing to commit to an enlistment contract (typically 4–6 years)
• No felony convictions or serious criminal history
