Role Overview
United States Beverage is seeking a highly motivated Sales & Market Development Intern to support our New York Metro market across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, and Rockland County.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in building a career in beverage alcohol, sales, trade marketing, and brand development. The intern will work directly with the New York Regional Sales Manager to support in-market execution, key account visits, and brand-building initiatives throughout the market.
This role is ideal for someone energetic, outgoing, organized, and eager to learn the beverage business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct key account visits to support brand visibility and execution
• Execute all sampling events, promotions, and consumer activations
• Build relationships with bar/restaurant and retail ownership, management and staff
• Support sales team with market recaps, photos, and competitive insights
• Identify and execute display opportunities and merchandising improvements in accounts
• Assist with inventory checks, POS placement, and promotional execution
• Represent USB spirits and RTD brands professionally at events and in market
• Provide feedback and insights from the field to management team
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Interest in spirits, RTD cocktails, and beverage sales industry
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Comfortable traveling throughout the NY Metro and using public transportation
• Availability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends/events
• Prior sales, hospitality, or promotional experience is a plus but not required
Compensation
• $25–$30 per hour
