As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the U.S. Army, youll train to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of tactical and commercial vehicles - from Humvees and Light Medium Tactical Vehicles to advanced diesel engines and hydraulic systems. No prior experience is required; we provide all technical training and certifications needed to start a career in the automotive and diesel maintenance field.

**What Youll Do**

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel and gasoline engines
  • Repair electrical, brake, steering, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance services
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas according to safety standards
  • Document work performed and ensure vehicles meet operational readiness requirements
  • Work both independently and as part of a team of skilled technicians
