Practical Nursing Specialist

As a Practical Nursing Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will learn to provide professional inpatient and outpatient medical care alongside experienced healthcare teams - with no prior certifications or medical experience required.

This is a full-time Active Duty healthcare training and career opportunity. Applicants must enlist in the U.S. Army and complete military training. Training and duty locations are assigned nationwide or overseas after enlistment and are not limited to the Lynchburg area.

What Youll Do

• Assist in patient care, including vital signs, treatments, and medication administration
• Support physicians, nurses, and hospital teams across a range of clinical environments
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision while developing advanced medical skills.
• Maintain medical documentation, equipment, and patient care standards
• Provide compassionate care in both everyday and emergency situations
