TEACHER ASSISTANT – SPECIAL EDUCATION
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, private, special education school from grades Kindergarten-12th grade. They pride themselves on helping their students achieve success by supporting each child’s learning style.
This is a 12-month program.
Salary - $35,000-$40,000 depending on experience
Excellent benefits package – Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Program
Days / Hours : M-F, 8 : 00a.m. to 2 : 30p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there are after school meetings at 3 : 30p.m. and 4 : 00p.m.
Responsibilities of the Teacher Assistant :
- Monitor students entering and leaving
- Responsible for the student attendance report
- Implement daily instruction, activities, and behavior strategies
- Support students in their school activities
- Teach skills that are targeted goals for each student with support from the Head / Lead teacher
Salary : $35,000 - $40,000
