Position Summary
A Shipping Crew Member is responsible for verifying information on the packing list and properly loading containers. Assist with any needs in the Imports Division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Check in an order using a packing list provided by the Shipping Manager. This entails verifying case counts, descriptions, establishment numbers, pack sizes, country of origin and documenting production and expiry dates found on the label Services applies.
· Build up pallets for shipment. Including wrapping them, weighing them, applying the appropriate flag, and doing a load plan.
· Complete shipping departments cleaning assignment daily, which includes cleaning the shipping dock, freezer, out-door and on occasion the chiller.
· Utilize a tablet to document loads as they are loaded.
· Utilize a sit-down forklift to pull product from 4 deep drive in racks and to load trucks.
· Assist with unloading and loading containers for the Imports Division.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Must be able to work in a cold environment.
· Must show knowledge of shipping containers (size and weight restrictions) and loading skills.
· Must possess time management skills.
· Forklift certification
· Must have basic math skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

· This is a fully in person position with no opportunity for remote work.
· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Must be able to work in a cold environment, with the proper cold barrier suits provided by the company.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
