Duties
- Monitor and control access to facilities using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including indoor and outdoor areas, to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to observe activity across different zones, ensuring continuous monitoring of all critical areas.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established emergency response procedures, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up actions.
- Operate specialized equipment such as Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), fire extinguishers, and firearms where permitted by law and regulation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong physical security skills.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation and manual handling techniques for maintaining safety..
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security duties such as patrolling large areas or managing crowd control situations.
- Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills to handle disputes professionally while maintaining safety.
- Familiarity with security regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry or region.
- Strong communication skills for incident report writing, customer service interactions, and coordination with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
