Senior Counselor – Reunification & Therapeutic Family Time (RTFT/PSS) Description:

At United Services, Inc., we believe that every family deserves the chance to heal and reunify. Our Reunification and Therapeutic Family Time (RTFT) program helps families strengthen their relationships and build the skills needed for lasting stability.

We're looking for a Senior Counselor who is passionate about helping children and parents reconnect in healthy, supportive ways. In this role, you'll facilitate therapeutic visits, conduct family assessments, and collaborate with DCF and community partners to guide families on their reunification journey.

What You'll Do

  • Provide reunification readiness assessments and supervised visits
  • Coach and empower parents using the Visit Coaching Model
  • Collaborate with DCF, foster families, and service providers
  • Advocate for families and connect them with community supports

  • Master's degree in a human services field
  • Strong assessment and family engagement skills
  • Knowledge of child welfare systems and local resources

Schedule:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with some evening/weekend flexibility

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in relevant human services field required.

Salary/Hourly Range:

$19.40 – $21.95 per hour (depending on experience)

Bilingual (Spanish/English) rate of pay: $20.38 – $23.06 per hour (depending on experience)
