Security Officer Summary:
We’re seeking motivated individuals who want more than a temporary role, people that are interested in developing a long-term career in the security field. This position is a seasonal role that may serve as an entry point into our organization.

This position goes from May 1st-October 31st.

Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming environment
• Patroldocks of the boat harbor for suspicious activities and unauthorized people
• Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the establishment
• Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Other responsibilities may apply

Security Officer Requirements:

• PERC Cardrequired(No Exceptions)
• Willingness to submit to a background check
• Prior Customer Service and Hospitality experience
• Weekend Availability
• Clean and professional appearance
• Evening and overnight availability
• Ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours, and possibly bike-riding as well. This is a large site and requires a lot of movement during the shift.
  

Security Officer Preferred Qualifications:

• Security experience
• Ex-law enforcement
• Military service
