SECURITY OFFICER- WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS

Look no further because we are currently seeking reliable, trustworthy, friendly, customer service oriented Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers to join our growing USI team at the largest retail development facility in Washington, DC!

Weekend and evening availability is required.

*Please note that this position requires an Active DC Security License*

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Patrolling and monitoring premises to detect any irregularities which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Keeping calm when alarms are triggered and escorting shopping customers and store employees to safety and maintaining crowd control.
• Responding to calls for help and contacting the fire or police department when necessary.
• Monitor CCTV cameras.
• Following orders and working as part of a team to ensure the safety or staff and customers.
• Writing up daily reports.

Skills:

• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to resolve conflict/problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

Requirements:

• Valid DC Security Officer License
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings.
