Job Skills / Requirements
FULL-TIME GATE SECURITY OFFICER | $21 PER HOUR
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 3 pm - 11 pm
Applicants with access control and gate experience strongly encouraged to apply
Security Officer Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guards property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
- The use of radios, CCTV, credential scanner, and reporting software.
- Patrols buildings and grounds to ensure people and property are safe and secure.
- Preserves order and enforces security regulations.
- Watches for and reports conditions that could result in injury or loss due to fire hazards, leaking pipes, spills, faulty equipment, etc.
- Use of oral de-escalation methods to control disagreements.
- All other job duties as related or assigned by USI Management.
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent sense of judgment.
- Can stay alert at all times.
- Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings.
