Job Skills / Requirements

USI is looking for a part-time security supervisor  to lead the team of officer during the weekend.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Team Leadership: Supervise security officers, including training, mentoring, and scheduling, particularly for specific shifts.
• Surveillance & Patrol: Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms) and perform regular inspections to identify security risks or safety hazards.
• Incident Response: Initiate emergency protocols (first aid, evacuations) and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services.
• Documentation: Maintain daily shift reports, incident logs, and staff performance records.
• Operational Compliance: Enforce company policies, visitor management procedures, and safety protocols to protect personnel and property. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a security officer or in a leadership role within security.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting and coordinating
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate surveillance systems and relevant software.
• Certification: Valid security guard license
• Problem-Solving: Critical thinking to manage emergencies and diffuse conflict. 

Typical Hours & Compensation

• Hours: Part-time hours often involve weekends, evenings
• Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Valid DC Security Officer License
• High school diploma or Transcripts
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings.
