Position Overview
United Security Inc. (USI) is seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to support mission-critical operations in our 24/7 command center.
This role serves as a front-line operator and decision-maker, responsible for real-time monitoring, incident response, personnel coordination, and threat intelligence support. The SOC Analyst plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity and supporting field operations, clients, and leadership during routine and high-impact events.
Key Responsibilities
Real-Time Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor live security systems, alerts, and operational dashboards
- Identify, assess, and respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Execute escalation procedures and coordinate response actions
- Maintain situational awareness across all active operations
Command Center Operations
- Serve as the central coordination point between field personnel, supervisors, and leadership
- Dispatch personnel and coordinate coverage, logistics, and emergency callouts
- Track operations using systems such as WinTeam and internal reporting tools
- Support continuity of operations during critical incidents or staffing gaps
Threat Intelligence & Risk Assessment
- Collect and analyze threat intelligence from multiple sources
- Produce alerts, summaries, and briefings for internal stakeholders
- Identify emerging risks and support proactive mitigation efforts
Systems & Technical Operations
- Operate key platforms including WinTeam, and CCTV systems
- Ensure system accuracy, uptime, and effective communications
- Support troubleshooting during system or technology disruptions
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with internal teams, clients, and external partners including law enforcement and government agencies
- Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication during all operations
- Support leadership with updates during critical events
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare incident reports, logs, and after-action summaries
- Track operational metrics, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and adherence to company protocols
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Security operations or command center environments
- Emergency management, dispatch, or law enforcement
- Experience working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
- Strong decision-making and situational awareness skills
- Proficiency with monitoring, scheduling, or incident management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- SOC / GSOC or executive protection support experience
- Experience supporting or coordinating with law enforcement agencies
- Background in intelligence analysis or reporting
- Familiarity with WinTeam, or similar platforms
- Relevant certifications in security, emergency management, or crisis response
Work Environment
- On-site role in Red Bank, NJ
- 24/7 operations requiring shift flexibility (evenings, overnights, weekends)
- Multi-screen workstation environment requiring sustained focus and attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $25/hour (bi-weekly pay)
