Senior Inside Sales / Technical Estimator – Atlanta, GA (On-Site)
United Seal & Rubber is seeking a highly technical, senior-level Inside Sales professional to support our outside sales team through cost estimating, quoting, and application support for custom-manufactured sealing products and distribution items. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can analyze drawings, understand manufacturing processes, build accurate cost models, and drive B2B transactional success in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost estimating and quoting for custom rubber, sealing, EMI shielding, and thermal products
- Support outside sales with technical application knowledge and pricing strategy
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements
- Manage RFQs, pricing models, and supplier coordination
- Drive quote-to-order conversion and margin optimization
Qualifications:
- Strong math skills (geometry, algebra) required
- Advanced Excel proficiency is a must
- Proven experience in B2B transactional sales, quoting, and cost estimating
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of quality systems and requirements (AS9100/ISO, PPAP, flow-downs preferred)
- Experience in sealing, rubber, polymers, or related industrial markets strongly preferred
