Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Manager based at our Libertyville, IL headquarters. The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the company’s fiscal health. Collaborating with various teams, the Finance Manager will also play a key role in strategic financial decision-making and operational process improvements.
Qualifications
Prefer, CPA, MBA
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial analysis and compliance with financial regulations
- Expertise in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and bookkeeping
- Experience in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with financial software and tools, including spreadsheet programs
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA is a strong advantage
- Prior experience in manufacturing or within the scientific supplies industry is a plus
