Hostler - Class A - CDL Driver - Night Shift

Location: Portland, OR (97211)

FT/PT Status: Full -Time (Five Days A Week)

Shift: Night - (6:00pm Start)

Hourly Rate: $25.00 to $29.00 (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Class A Hostler Duties at United Salad Company:

• Interacting with dispatch and quickly communicating truck assignments when requested

• Ensuring truck fleet is fueled and ready to go out on their route

• Safely place trucks into locations throughout the yard

• Make shuttle runs to distribution centers when necessary

• Drop and hook trucks in preparation for going out on a route

• Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments

We are currently seeking motivated Class A drivers who embody the following qualities:

• 3-5 years of Class A Driving Experience

• Valid Class A CDL and medical card

• Demonstrated ability to drive a manual stick shift

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment

• Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions

• Clean motor vehicle driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.
