Summary Of Essential Functions
The Marketing and Public Relations Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Vice President of Organizational Development to develop and execute marketing plans and strategies, including public relations events and efforts, for United Regional Health Care System.Essential in promoting System service lines, through campaigns and events, including but not limited to health fairs, seminars, outreach events, chamber activities, open houses and more.Leads and manages certain members within the Marketing and Communications department and works collaboratively with department leaders, physicians, and staff throughout the System.Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelors' degree required.Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Licensure and Certifications

Five years of experience with a primary focus in marketing and public relations. Experience in healthcare arena is preferable.Solid understanding of the healthcare industry and its opportunities and challenges.Three to four years of experience in leadership strongly preferred.Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is a plus.Public speaking capabilities necessary.Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with staff members, health care providers, media representatives, as well as patients, and public.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and resources well.Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret data, identify its strategic implications, and communicate that analysis effectively.Ability to work with limited supervision and excellent independent judgement skills.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.Ability to manage all aspects of United Regional's image.Creativity.Physical Requirements
