What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Operations Coordinator position at United Recovery & Remarketing?
UR2 is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Coordinator to join our Louisville, KY team. This full-time, Monday through Friday position is responsible for supporting the post-repossession process, maintaining the vehicle storage lot, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment while ensuring daily operations run efficiently.
In this position, you will be spending most of your time outdoors. Responsibilities include:
- Process repossessed vehicles and upload photos
- Properly inventory all personal property within repossessed vehicles
- Complete condition reports in a timely manner
- Prep vehicles for transport to auction
- Provide customer service to debtors redeeming vehicles and personal property
- Provide professional service to transporters and third parties who are authorized on the lot
- Other various tasks as directed by the Lot Supervisor
This is an entry-level position, starting at $16-$18/hour
*Note* This position does not involve the actual repossession of vehicles or equipment.
We have a very relaxed, informal work atmosphere, and a family-friendly, daytime work schedule. Training will be provided upon hiring.
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment screening
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard transmission
- Basic computer skills required
- Good verbal and written communication
- Requires good time management and organizational skills
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
Physical Requirements
- Frequent and/or prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Must be able to lift or move items at least 25 pounds
- Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Physical Work Environment
- Exposure to outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors and dust.
