Warehouse Receiving and Claims Associate

• This position will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods within a warehouse, including tasks like receiving deliveries, inspecting items for damage, accurately recording inventory, packing and labeling shipments, and ensuring timely delivery to customers, all while maintaining detailed records and adhering to proper procedures
• Attention to detail: Accurately verifying quantities and identifying errors in shipments.
• Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy boxes throughout the day.
• Basic computer skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems and data entry.
• Organizational skills: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing orders efficiently.
• Communication skills: Interacting with suppliers, customers, and other warehouse staff. 

Key responsibilities of a shipping and receiving clerk may include:

• Receiving shipments: Unloading trucks, verifying quantities against packing slips, inspecting goods for damage, reporting any discrepancies to suppliers.
• Inventory management: Scanning and logging received items into the inventory system, storing products in designated areas, maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Order fulfillment: Picking and packing customer orders based on order details, ensuring correct items and quantities are included.
• Shipping preparation: Creating shipping labels, weighing packages, securely packaging items for shipment, and coordinating deliveries with carriers.
• Data entry: Recording shipment details into computer systems, updating inventory records, generating reports on stock levels and shipment status.
• Quality control: Identifying and reporting damaged or defective products.
• Loading and unloading trucks: Manually or using forklifts to load and unload shipments. 

This position work 730am-4pm Mon-Friday
