Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing and organizing inventory, and operating warehouse equipment. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Pick and fill orders from stock
- Pack and ship orders
- Manage and organize stock
- Operates and maintains warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Complies with operating instructions and safety policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
Working Conditions: The Warehouse Associate will work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying extreme temperatures. The position may require working weekends and holidays, as well as overtime.
Physical Requirements: The Warehouse Associate must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time, and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
