Director of Property Claims

Lead Our Claims Operation

United Public Adjusters & Appraisers is a leading public adjusting and property insurance consulting firm dedicated to representing residential and commercial policyholders throughout the insurance claims process. Unlike insurance carriers, we advocate exclusively on behalf of policyholders, helping our clients navigate complex property losses and maximize their insurance recovery through expert guidance, technical expertise, and unwavering advocacy.

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Property Claims to lead our growing claims organization. In doing so, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residential and commercial property owners we are privileged to represent.

Significant property insurance claims leadership experience is required. Candidates without direct property claim management experience will not be considered.

  • Analyze claim trends, operational metrics, and team performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Serve as a Strategic Claims Leader

  • Provide technical guidance on complex and high-value property claims.
  • Lead negotiations involving insurance carriers, contractors, engineers, attorneys, accountants, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable claim resolutions.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish departmental goals, performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and long-term operational objectives.
  • Resolve escalated client matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and a client-first approach.

Develop Talent & Strengthen the Organization

  • Design and oversee training initiatives that enhance technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and consistency in claim handling.
  • Ensure the claims team remains current on policy interpretation, regulatory developments, estimating platforms, and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
