Schedule: Must be available to work evenings and weekends
Position Overview
We are seeking professional, customer service–driven Security Officers for a high-rise building in Houston, TX. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Ideal candidates are approachable, dependable, and able to operate with minimal supervision while responding quickly and professionally to situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist tenants and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Monitor building access and ensure only authorized individuals enter tenant spaces
- Conduct visitor check-in procedures in accordance with site policies
- Perform routine patrols of the building after hours to identify safety, security, or facility concerns
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) accurately and thoroughly
- Document and submit Incident Reports as needed
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants, and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Security License (or ability to obtain)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
