Lobby Security Officer – Professional Office Environment

Location: College Station, TX 77845Pay: $15.00 per hourSchedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Lobby Security Officer to support operations at a high-profile facility in the College Station area.

This is a customer-facing position where you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees. The ideal candidate maintains a strong security presence while delivering excellent customer service and working closely with the front office team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence at the lobby/front desk
• Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner
• Manage visitor check-in procedures, including ID verification and badge issuance
• Coordinate closely with front office staff to ensure efficient visitor processing
• Monitor and control access to the facility
• Enforce site policies, procedures, and access protocols
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and security concerns as needed
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience
• Must live within 20 miles of ZIP code 77845
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in lobby, concierge, or front desk security roles
• Experience in corporate, office, or customer-facing environments
• Familiarity with visitor management or access control systems
