Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level Junior Project Manager with foundational knowledge in pipe and welding, submittals, and project coordination. As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in assisting senior project managers with day-to-day operations and helping to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some relevant experience who are looking to grow their career in project management.
Duties:
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing day-to-day project activities and timelines
- Help manage and track project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Help Prepare and review submittals for project specifications and approvals
- Help Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor progress and performance against project milestones and report any issues or delays
- Help maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Attend meetings
Qualifiactions:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of pipe and welding processes, materials, and standards
- Familiarity with the submittal process and project documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,); experience with project management software is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- Internship or entry-level experience in project management or construction
- Exposure to pipe and welding projects or related industries is highly desirable
