Title: Senior DeltaV Engineer

Position Overview:
- We are seeking experienced Senior DeltaV Engineers to support pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV and a solid background in controls and automation engineering within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Candidates should have experience supporting upstream and/or downstream manufacturing processes and be capable of working independently at a senior engineering level.
- This position requires engineers who can apply their DeltaV and process automation expertise to support reliable and effective operation of manufacturing processes while collaborating with engineering, operations, and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level controls and automation engineering support using Emerson DeltaV.
- Support automation activities associated with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Work with DeltaV-based process control systems supporting manufacturing operations.
- Develop, review, configure, and troubleshoot DeltaV control strategies and automation functionality.
- Provide automation engineering support for upstream and/or downstream manufacturing processes.
- Analyze process automation requirements and translate manufacturing needs into appropriate DeltaV control solutions.
- Review and troubleshoot existing DeltaV configurations to identify and resolve controls and automation-related issues.
- Support modifications, improvements, and updates to existing DeltaV automation systems.
- Evaluate automation system performance and assist with resolving process control issues affecting manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand process requirements and ensure automation solutions appropriately support the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical guidance on DeltaV controls and process automation to project and manufacturing teams.
- Participate in technical reviews related to DeltaV configuration, process control, and automation requirements.
- Support automation activities across various stages of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
- Ensure automation solutions align with the requirements of the associated upstream or downstream process.
- Troubleshoot complex controls and automation issues requiring senior-level DeltaV expertise.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering judgment when addressing automation challenges within the manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on automation-related activities and process control requirements.
- Maintain clear technical documentation associated with DeltaV configuration, control strategies, system changes, and automation activities.
- Support continuous improvement of DeltaV-based automation solutions within the manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience with Emerson DeltaV.
- Senior-level experience in controls engineering and/or automation engineering.
- Demonstrated experience working in pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting automation and process control systems associated with manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of process automation and control using DeltaV.
- Experience with upstream and/or downstream manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand manufacturing process requirements and apply appropriate DeltaV automation solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for complex DeltaV and process automation issues.
- Ability to independently manage technical automation responsibilities at a senior engineering level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and other project stakeholders.
