Lab Technician
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Reports To: Quality Assurance Supervisor/General Manager
Job Description:
Objective: A quality assurance technician’s primary responsibly is to assure that all products are produced in accordance with good manufacturing practices, meeting all company, local, state, and federal regulations
Job Function:
- Perform testing on bulk and bagged ingredients.
Food Safety Function:
- Verify raw and finished product meets specification
- Understand all laboratory procedures
- Report any off odors, insects, and rodent activities
- Compliance of GMPs and the food safety plan
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Maintain a professional attitude.
- Dependable.
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in concerns of employees and financial files.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
