What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Package Delivery Driver position at United Parcel Service?
Casual Package Delivery Drivers with United Parcel Service (UPS) are the ones who drive our familiar brown trucks, bringing packages great and small to customers. They're a friendly, physically active crew who enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and being behind the wheel.
To succeed in this role, drivers must be able to lift up to 70 lbs., have a valid driver's license (no CDL required), pass a DOT physical, demonstrate excellent customer service and driving skills, and have the legal right to work in the U.S. Additionally, casual package delivery drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Full-time casual package delivery drivers typically work eight to ten hours per day and may have varying schedules (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday) based on business needs.
