🕒 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week | Mon-Fri 11am-8pm | every other weekend

🎯 What You’ll Do in This Role:
The Dining Services Supervisor ensures an exceptional dining experience for residents in our senior living community. This role oversees meal-service, leads team members to prepare and maintain the dining room, and ensures cleanup and departmental tasks are completed. The supervisor warmly welcomes residents, promptly addresses concerns, and supports communication between departments to deliver smooth, high-quality service each day.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily meal service to ensure accuracy of diets, timely delivery, and an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate dining team members, including onboarding and leading meetings, workshops, and shift huddles.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle resident interactions, including meal orders, special requests, concerns, and diet needs in coordination with the dietitian.
- Monitor and maintain supplies, stock levels, and equipment, reporting shortages and assisting with deliveries and storage.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as temperature logs, reservations, billing, guest charges, and record keeping.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards before service.
- Support operational duties, including dishwashing, cleaning, food prep, stocking, and assisting cooks as needed.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- 5 years’ experience of Dining Services, required.
- Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
- ServSafe Certificated, preferred.
- Allergen Certificated, preferred.
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver's license.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
