LPN Charge Nurse Requirements:
- Current New York State (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Demonstrate competency in the skills and techniques required to meet resident needs as identified through assessments and individualized care plans
What You'll Do as an LPN Charge Nurse:
- Complete resident assessments, identify changes in condition, and develop individualized care plans
- Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration and nursing procedures in accordance with regulations and scope of practice
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care
- Supervise and support nursing staff, monitor staff competency, and assist with training and education as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring resident confidentiality, dignity, and rights are respected at all times
- Assist with UAS assessments, report incidents or concerns promptly, and respond to emergency situations as needed
