Summary
The Director of Community Relations is responsible for devising and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and visibility of our assisted and independent living community. This role involves developing relationships with potential residents, families, healthcare providers and community partners. This position plays a key part in strengthening our organization's presence and reputation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive business development and marketing plans aligned with the community's goals and values.
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes to inform market strategies.
- Generate leads through various channels, including digital marketing, network events, referrals and partnerships.
- Manage the sales process, conduct tours, and effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective residents and their families.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, referral sources, local businesses, and community organizations.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, advertising initiatives, and promotional events to raise awareness and enhance the community's brand.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, and administration) to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze marketing and sales metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in senior living to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Keep all records current on CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
'Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the senior living, healthcare or related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Flexibility to work after hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,240.00 - $64,480.00 per year
