UMC is currently seeking a Community Life Assistant for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements for a Community Life Assistant:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• **Health care - must have CNA
• 90 hour course activity
• One year general work

Responsibilities for a Community Life Assistant:

• Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming. Conducts assigned programs including 1 to 1 visits. Assists with field trips and outings.
• Transports residents to and from planned activities within or external to community.
• Assists with documentation- daily attendance records and 1 to 1 records.
• Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as
• Assures supplies are available for various activities/programs.
• Gives input to residents care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress
