Interventional Neurologist, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Interventional Neurologist to join our Neuro Endovascular 04 department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. Interventional Neurologist / Overview Key Responsibilities and Expectations United Health Services, a four-hospital, integrated health system in Central New York, is expanding. Neurosciences is a signature service line for the health system, especially for stroke and neurosurgical care, and we have identified a need to expand our neurology team due to increased demand. United Health Services, a four-hospital system in Central New York, is hiring an additional interventional neurologist to join the team in Upstate New York. The administration is dedicated to the programmatic growth of Neurosciences, and recently welcomed Dr. Simone Betchen as the Chief of Neurosciences. UHS Binghamton is a 220-bed facility offering medical, surgical and rehabilitation care and offers an array of programs and services. UHS Wilson Medical Center is a 280-bed teaching hospital with Level 2 trauma and pending Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center designations (currently a Primary Stroke Center). Currently, they have a Medical/ Surgical/ Neuro ICU with 14 beds, flexed to meet each service's needs and a separate 16-bed cardio-vascular ICU. Mohawk Valley Health System – St. Luke’s in Utica, New York. The stroke and neuro-interventional programs at UHS are up and running and well-established as Mohawk Valley currently sees ~1500 stroke cases per year, and had about 175-200 interventional cases in 2019 with another 200-250 diagnostic cases. Practice Highlights: - Faculty appointment at SUNY Upstate Medical University - APC support - EPIC EMR - Competitive compensation package with student loan forgiveness option and training stipend NIR/ESN Position Highlights: - 26 weeks of service/ year - ~150 interventional and 250 diagnostic cases per year - Bi-planar angio, Camino ICP monitoring equipment, CSF drainage equipment, cEEG monitoring - NeuroICU with 2 fellowship trained neurointensivists - Close collaboration with neurosurgery - Faculty appointment at SUNY Upstate - APC support - EPIC EMR - Competitive compensation package with student loan forgiveness option - Visa assistance available Salary Range $300,000- $400,000 annually.
