We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher/Office Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position involves coordinating service calls and providing general office support to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatcher Duties:
- Receive and prioritize service requests from clients.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Prepare and process service-related documentation.
- Support administrative staff with various tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in dispatching or office administration, preferably in a mechanical or service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of mechanical systems in order to make appropriate decisions in scheduling all types of work.
- Knowledge of ValueBuilder accounting and service software.
