Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented HR Assistant to support tour Human Resources department in key administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and some hands-on experience in HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compliance and benefits administration. Responsibilities
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, collecting documentation and coordinating orientation schedules
- Support recruiting efforts by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
- Help administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes and responding to employee inquiries
- Support compliance efforts related to labor laws, company policies and internal audits
- Coordinate employee communications related to HR programs, events or updates
- Assist in planning HR initiatives such as training sessions or employee engagement events
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an HR support role preferred
- Familiarity with core HR functions including onboarding, recruiting, compliance and benefits
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with HRIS systems a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Team oriented with a proactive and flexible approach to work
