Job Overview
The Construction Laborer will assist with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.
This position will last 4-8 weeks and will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Job Duties:
- Assist carpenters with assigned tasks.
- Perform general labor duties such as digging post holes, lifting, and carrying materials as required.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools (such as drills and saws).
- Read tape measures, paint, tape, and other tasks as assigned.
- Assist with and clean up from demo work as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Able to read tape measures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to bend over, reach above head, and carry 60lbs.
- Must have own hand tools and tool bag.
- Must be able to work outside in heat/cold.
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions from Supervisor and Lead Carpenters.
UKB and Tribal preference applies.
