General Expectations/Responsibilities

- Primary function is to fabricate and assemble metal structures and products through the use of welders, cutters, and shapers
- Certified Welder, Flux Core: flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Fabricate and assemble Overhead Bridge Cranes according to job order, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
- Develop layout and plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as welders, punches, flame cutters, and drill presses.
- Ability to design and construct templates and fixtures.
- Ability to verify conformance of work piece to specifications
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Standing, stooping, bending, climbing, crawling, working at odd angles, and working in tight spaces for long periods of time.
- Proficient with Trimble Survey Equipment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and various 3D software.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised.
- Team player and self-motivated to be successful.
- Periodic travel required.
- Legally able to work in the US.
- Valid Driver’s License.
