United Industries Group (UIG Tank Systems) is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to support strategic growth across industrial infrastructure, data center, municipal, and mission-critical construction markets.
This role is ideal for an ambitious early-career sales professional looking to build long-term experience in B2B business development, outbound sales, and strategic relationship building within the engineering and construction industries.
The BDR will support outbound campaigns, project tracking, cold outreach, CRM activity, and pipeline development efforts targeting engineering firms, contractors, developers, utilities, and industrial clients throughout North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and sales campaigns
- Identify and track upcoming construction and infrastructure projects using Dodge Construction Network and other industry tools
- Build relationships with engineering firms, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Qualify opportunities and coordinate meetings for senior sales leadership
- Maintain organized CRM and pipeline activity
- Support business development initiatives across data center, industrial, water/wastewater, and infrastructure markets
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of B2B sales, business development, lead generation, recruiting, or customer-facing experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and professional phone communication
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated
- Interest in industrial, construction, engineering, or technical sales environments preferred
