Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide information, and assist with inquiries to enhance their experience.
- Monitor entrances and exits using access control systems to ensure authorized entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including indoor and outdoor areas, to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Utilize surveillance equipment to observe activity, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent incidents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or safety concerns accurately and clearly.
- Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as required to maintain compliance with security protocols.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety standards.
- Operate emergency response equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), fire extinguishers, and Tasers if authorized.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and enforce compliance with all security regulations and policies.
- Assist in heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when required for event setup or maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is preferred; ongoing training will be provided if necessary.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and physical security practices.
- Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and emergency responses effectively.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and conflict management techniques to ensure safety at all times.
- A proactive attitude with excellent observation skills and attention to detail; ability to remain calm under pressure.
