Duties
- Lead and coordinate construction projects, including framing, finish carpentry and rough carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Manage fixture installation such as doors, cabinets, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and electrical or plumbing systems
- Ensure heavy lifting and material handling are conducted safely and efficiently on-site
- Supervise subcontractors and team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all phases of work
- Assist in estimating project costs and materials when necessary
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong background in carpentry—including rough and finish carpentry. It's gonna be hot. Hello.
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage restoration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically capable for demanding tasks
- Skilled in working with various materials including wood, metal, concrete, tile, plastering compounds, and stucco
- Experience with electrical systems, plumbing installations, masonry work, remodeling projects, flooring installation, tile laying
- Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation or electrical wiring is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively on construction sites
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in high-pressure environments
